Over 4000 pieces are on display, and it also shares a building with the Museo de Bellas Artes, which has art exhibits from all over the world.
Avila National Park
One very popular thing to do while in Caracas is visit Avila National Park and go take the cable car to the top of Avila, a mountain to the north of Caracas. It’s the perfect place for a breath of fresh air, some gorgeous natural surroundings, and the best views of Caracas available. There are also many parks in Caracas that provide a similar relaxing experience. The Parque del Este is a favorite, and it features a planetarium and a small zoo on the grounds.
